Week's Achievements: McDermitt led the Eagles to one of their best invitational wins in program history this past weekend at the Commodore Classic, Sept. 17. As a team, the Eagles won the meet with 68 points, beating No. 19 Mississippi State and No. 26 Vanderbilt in the process. On the individual side, McDermitt turned in a third-place finish, clocking in at 17:02.9 despite tough running conditions. Her time was also just three seconds behind the second-place finisher.
