Sophomore punter Mitchell Tomasek tied his career-high with a massive 62-yard boot that pinned the Northern Illinois Huskies down at their own 15-yard line. In addition to that big kick, the second 60-yard punt of the season for Tomasek and second punt over 50 yards on the day, he punted the ball five total times for an average of 47.8 yards per punt. Twice, he pinned the Huskies inside their own 20 yard line. On those three punts, NIU only attempted to return one, which gained three total yards. On the season, Tomasek ranks first in the MAC in punting average and second in punts over 50 yards.
