3.75 GPA as a Math, Teacher Education Major
Corey Nowitzke led Eastern Michigan University to a 2nd place finish in the MAC Track Championships this weekend. Nowitzke won the 1,500 meter event in a time of 3:53.68. In addition, Nowitzke was also 5th in the 5,000 meter run, and 2nd in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Nowitzke’s time of 8:54.26 in the steeplechase met NCAA regional qualifying standards. With his efforts in these three events, Nowitzke earned 22 points for Eastern Michigan (out of a total of 103), earning him first-team All MAC honors for the championships.
