MAC Announces Indoor Track & Field All-MAC Teams

Nine Eagles earned All-MAC honors
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2025 MAC Indoor Championships All-MAC teams Monday, March 23. The list features nine Eastern Michigan University student-athletes, eight of which came from the men's team and one from the women.
Leading the Eastern men with All-MAC first team honors and two individual titles is Kian Wiles (Hull, England/St. Mary's College), defending his title in the mile as he won it this year in 4:07.31, along with earning a second gold in the 800m in 1:52.47, making it the first time someone won both the mile and 800m since 2020.
Also earning first team honors is Gabe Oliveira (São Paulo, Brazil/Escola Estadual Jornalista David Nasser), who took the triple jump title with a 15.30m (50-02.50) mark, and the distance medley relay team of Ronan Codyre (Auckland, New Zealand/Macleans College), Michael Hawkins (Detroit, Mich./Cass Technical/Michigan State), Ty Dailey (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney), and Jimmy Geller (London, England/Davenant Foundation School), as they earned the win in 10:04.50.
Two men landed on the second team, as Lukas Ray (Lincoln Park, Mich./Wyandotte Roosevelt) secured second place in the shot put with a throw of 16.42m (53-10.50), and Lucky Fiaku (Nimo, Nigeria/Busy International Secondary) cleared 2.08m (6-09.75) to finish as the runner-up in the high jump.
The women's lone honoree is Mariah Taylor (East Lake, Fla./East Lake), as her triple jump win with a personal best performance of 12.69m (41-07.75) was the sole individual women's title of the meet for the Eagles, earning first team honors, along with claiming the third best mark in program history.

The next time the Eagles will be in action will be to open the outdoor season, as they are set to open the outdoor portion of the schedule with the Raleigh Relays, March 26-28, and the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, March 27-28.
