Eastern Michigan junior Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary) led the Eagles once again at the Colleton River Collegiate, shooting a 214 (68-76-70) to finish the tournament two-under and place ninth. Collins posted his second career top-10 showing at the event that featured a powerhouse field. with No. 12 Notre Dame as well as Miami ad Bowling Green. After entering the final day in 12th-place, Eastern Michigan equaled Ohio State for the biggest jump on the final day, moving up four-places on the Colleton River Club Pete Dye Course. Georgia Southern (-15) recorded the lowest score of the second and third round on their way to winning the tournament by seven strokes over Iowa State (-8). Notre Dame (+3), ranked 12th in the country, finished third.
