Week’s Achievements: Fink had a fantastic weekend for the Eagles at the Outdoor Mid-American Conference Championships, bringing home two event titles for the Eagles and helping the team to a second-place finish. In the 3000m steeplechase, the redshirt junior claimed the gold after crossing the finish line in 8:48.80, besting the second-place finisher from Akron by nearly eight seconds. Additionally, Fink also walked away with the 5000m title, clocking in at 14:43.83 to edge out teammate Nick Raymond. At the conclusion of the meet, the Maumee, Ohio native was named Most Valuable Performer for his fantastic conference championship meet, in addition to earning First-Team All MAC honors.
