The Eagles began their day with top qualifying time in the preliminary heats, completing the 2000m in 7:02.04. The First Varsity Eight's performance toppled Colonial Athletic Association foes Villanova University and the University of Delaware by more than two seconds. The Green and White continued its success from the qualifying heats to the finals, earning the top finish in the Grand Final with a time of 6:57.08.
