Eastern Michigan junior sprinter Owen Richardson shined for the Green and White in his season debut at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday, Jan. 11. The Basingstoke, England, native claimed first prize in the 200-meter dash as he crossed the finish line in 21.53 seconds. He also ran the second leg as part of EMU’s ‘A’ squad in the 4x400-meter relay, helping the Eagles capture the runner-up spot with a time of 3:18.55.
