Minsker fueled the Eagles to a win over Kent State University, April 8, to finish the week 1-1 in the circle. The Howell, Mich. product tossed her sixth complete game of the season and her first career shutout as the Green and White won the series opener, 6-0, at the Diamond at Dix. Minsker fanned five batters along the way, two short of her career-high, and held a potent Golden Flashes lineup to just four hits at their home stadium. Minsker’s shutout marked the first of the season for the Eagles and the first time EMU has shutout an opponent since April 18, 2015.
