Week’s Achievements:
Mitcheltree fueled the Eagles to a 185-115 win over Miami in the Eastern Michigan University’s women’s swimming and diving season opener. Mitcheltree opened competition as the lead swimmer on the Eagles’ first place 200 Medley Relay team, as the foursome touched in with a time of 1:43.61. Returning to the pool in the 100 Backstroke, Mitcheltree used an early lead to pave the way to another first place finish before doing the same in the 200 Back. Her day came to a close as part of the 400 Freestyle Relay team, where she swam the fastest split of the group on her way to passing her RedHawks counterpart to set the Eagles up for another first place finish.
