Four Swim & Dive Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

Ciara Wheeler, Lucy Noble, Malia Maire, and Olivia Clarino made the list
GREENWOOD, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving student-athletes Ciara Wheeler, Lucy Noble, Malia Maire, and Olivia Clarino were tabbed Academic All-District honorees by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The organization announced the recipients Tuesday, April 1.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
For Wheeler, Noble, Maire, and Clarino, the accolade marks the first of their respective careers. Overall, the Eagles have seen 17 student-athletes make the list in program history.
Each Eagle boasts at least a 3.96 GPA, with Clarino (Toronto, Ontario/Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute) and Noble (Flagler Beach, Fla./Flagler Palm Coast) holding perfect 4.00 marks in the classroom.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 22, 2025. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
