At the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, March 26, thrower Kadian Clarke crushed her school-record shot put mark of 14.83m with a 15.51m toss to place fourth in the event. Also in Miami, the veteran thrower took second in the hammer throw (56.92m) and 10th in the discus (38.89m). Her hammer mark currently ranks second in the Mid-American Conference, while her shot put mark is third, followed by discus at 15th. In her career, the senior owns the program record in the weight throw (21.54m), hammer throw (58.87m), and outdoor shot put (15.51m)
