Senior infielder Daniel Warkentin had an outstanding weekend for the Green and White, playing in three contests against Butler and helping the Eagles to pick up their first series victory of the 2022 season. The Leamington, Ontario native tied for the team lead with a .417 batting average as he racked up five hits, including two for extra-bases, and one home run. Warkentin paced the team in RBIs with five, and put together a team-leading .750 slugging percentage for the weekend. Additionally, he reached base at a .429 clip, and was perfect in the field. Warkentin put the ball in play in 10 of his 12 trips to the plate, and was first on the team with nine total bases.
