Eastern Michigan junior Zach Sudinsky earned MAC All-Tournament honors at the 2019 MAC Championships, April 26-28, at Club Walden. After shooting a 74 in the Saturday morning round , he followed with a 71 in the afternoon. Sudinsky placed fifth with 145 to become the first Eagle to earn the honor since Kyle Rodes in 2016.
Eastern Michigan and Kent State shared the team championship after rain washed away Sunday's final round. It is EMU's third all-time MAC men's golf championship after previously earning the trophy in 2007 and 2008.
Sudinsky closed the year with an average of 73.38 and three top-10 showings. The MAC finish was the best of Sudinsky's EMU career, bettering his performance at the Firestone Invitational when he tied for seventh.
