Week's Achievements:Junior Jordan Smith led the Green and White attack in its opening weekend of the 2017 season, Aug. 25-26. Smith paced the team in kills (50), aces (9), and points (63.5), while also contributing five assists, 12 blocks, and the second most digs on the Eagles with 50. By garnering 50 digs , the outside hitter was able to push her career total over 400. The junior posted a career-high eight aces against Stony Brook, while capturing her first double-double of the season with 15 kills and 21 digs. Smith joined teammate Cassie Haut as the two EMU representatives on the all-tournament team.
