Bogdanova helped the Eastern Michigan University women’s track and field team repeat as Mid-American Conference Indoor Champions this past weekend, Feb. 26-27. Bogdanova had a stellar meet, winning two events and placing third in another. On the first day of competition, the junior led a one-two punch in the 5000m, crossing the finish line in 16:29.91, setting a new MAC Championship record in the process. Her success carried over to day two, where she also was crowned the mile champion by clocking in at 4:53.58. Finally, the Kazan, Russia native also nabbed a third-place finish in the 3000m.
