WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior Penelope Guilleux (Saint Maur Des Fosse, France-Arsonval) posted back-to-back rounds of 79 and sits in a tie for 15th-place after the opening day of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, March 18. As a team, the Eagles carded an opening day score of 650 (320-330), while Seton Hall holds down the top spot with a 36-hole tally of 614 (301-313) on the par 72, 6,105-yard Kingsmill Resort River Course.
Sophomore Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) and junior Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford) are tied for 29th-place with a score of 162. Senior Kritsuda Apiwatthanadol (Bangkok, Thailand-Somtawin Witead Suska Huaymongkhon School) added a 171 (85-86) for 53rd, while Green Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School) managed a 172 (89-83) for 59th.
