Women's Golf Returns to Action at William & Mary Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team returns to action at the William & Mary Intercollegiate, March 19-20. The 54-hole event will take place on the par-72, 6,025-yard Kingsmill Resort River Course.
The 15-team field includes: Akron, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, High Point, Indiana State, Longwood, Loyola-Chicago, Monmouth, Mount St. Mary's, Penn, Seton Hall, St. Francis (Pa.), Wagner, William & Mary, and Yale.
Monday will feature 36 holes of continuous play starting at 8:30 a.m., while Sunday's round begins at 9 a.m.
Eastern last played in the event in 2016, when Thelma Beck and Kelsey Murphy helped the team finish in a two-way tie for 10th-place with a mark of 950 (318-315-317). Beck and Murphy each fired a two-day total of 234 in 25th place, making EMU one of just eight teams in the tournament to boast a multiple top 25 finishers.
Representing the Eagles will be Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International), Penelope Guilleux (Saint Maur Des Fosse, France-Arsonval), Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford), Kritsuda Apiwatthanadol (Bangkok, Thailand-Somtawin Witead Suska Huaymongkhon School), and Green Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School).
