EMU RETURNS HOME FOR POST-THANKSGIVING DAY TILT: Following a successful week in Hawai'i, the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team returns home Friday, Nov. 26, to host Cornell University in a 5:30 p.m. contest at the Convocation Center. Ryan Wooley will have the exclusive call on Eagle All-Access beginning at 5:20 p.m.
The contest will be the second between the two schools on the hardwood, with EMU holding a 1-0 edge in the all-time series. The Eagles defeated the Big Red, 82-67, in the opening game of the Eagle Classic in Ypsilanti, Nov. 16, 2001.

OFFENSIVE FIREPOWER IN THE NATION'S 50TH STATE: Following a 44-point output against Oregon State, Nov. 19, Eastern Michigan found its shooting stroke, averaging 81.0 points per game versus Hawai'i, Nov. 20, and Cal State Northridge, Nov. 21. The Eagles shot 44.1 percent from the field and allowed just 67.5 points per game. EMU also out-rebounded its opponents by 8.0 caroms per game to go along with racking up 12.5 steals.

JAMES NAMED TO ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM: Junior Tavelyn James was named the All-Tournament team at the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic, Nov. 19-21, after averaging 17.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 25.3 minutes of work in three games at the Stan Sheriff Center. Her best game came in the team's 79-68 victory over Cal State Northridge, Nov. 21, when she poured in 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting. The Detroit native also notched 21 points in the 83-67 domination of host Hawai'i, Nov. 20.

EMU VERSUS THE IVY LEAGUE: Eastern is 2-0 all-time versus the Princeton, NJ based Ivy League, having only played against two of the eight member institutions. EMU is 1-0 against Columbia and 1-0 versus Cornell.

HUNTLEY EARNS ALL-TOURNAMENT HONORS AT WAHINE CLASSIC: Joining teammate Tavelyn James, senior Sydney Huntley collected All-Tournament accolades at the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic, Nov. 19-21, after averaging 12.0 points, 3.3 assists, 3.3 steals and 1.3 rebounds in 25.3 minutes of work in three games at the Stan Sheriff Center. Her best game came in the team's 83-67 victory over Hawai'i, Nov. 20, when she poured in 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

SCHROCK PASSES 1,000 POINTS: Senior guard Cassie Schrock reached a milestone by recording her 1,000th career point Friday, Nov. 19, in the team's 59-44 setback to Oregon State University in the opening game of the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Schrock entered the game needing just one point to reach the coveted milestone and accomplished the feat early on, penetrating into the lane and converting EMU's first field goal of the game at the 16:06 mark of the first half. Schrock totaled seven points, seven rebounds and six assists, becoming the 16th member to join the 1,000-point club for the EMU women's basketball program.

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE: Eastern Michigan is 1-0 at the Convocation Center this season. The Eagles have won 14 of the last 16 home games dating back to the 2008-09 campaign.
Eastern Michigan has racked up a solid home-court advantage inside the friendly confines of the Convocation Center since the doors opened during the 1998-99 campaign. The Green and White has won 69.8 percent of the contests played in the building, racking up a 108-47 all-time mark.

A LOOK INSIDE THE SPECIALTY STATS: The Eagles are averaging 26.8 points per game in the paint, 21.8 points off the bench, 23.8 points per game off turnovers, 15.8 second-chance points and 8.2 fast break points per game.

THIS DATE IN EMU HISTORY: The game on Nov. 26 will mark the 10th time the Eagles will have played on that date, recording a 6-3 record all-time. The last occurrence came in 2005 when the Green and White lost to Cal State Northridge, 69-59, at the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Hawai'i.

I WOULD WALK 10,000 MILES OR 11,748 TO BE EXACT: Pack your bags and grab some information about frequent flyer programs because the Eagles will earn plenty of mileage over the next month. The team will make stops in Hawai'i and Missouri. All together the EMU road trips will tally over 11,748 miles during the non-conference season. During the Mid-American Conference season the Eagles will rack up only 2,968 miles of travel during their eight league road contests.

THE KIDS CAN PLAY: The average 2010-11 EMU women's basketball player stands 5-feet-10 inches tall and is 20 years and 146 days old. The youngest Eagle is Olivia Fouty, who turned 18, June 28, 2010. Kristin Thomas is the oldest Eagle having turning 22, June 25, 2010.
