Former Eagle will play for Islands Wichos Jelenia Góra of the Orlen Basket Liga Kobiet League in Poland

JELENIA GÓRA, Poland (EMUEagles.com) – Former Eastern Michigan University women's basketball student-athlete Sisi Eleko has signed a professional contract with Islands Wichoś Jelenia Góra of Poland's Orlen Basket Liga Kobiet League Wednesday, June 10.

Orlen Basket Liga Kobie (BLK) is a professional women's club basketball league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish league pyramid.

The team recently earned a promotion from the Polish Women's First League to the BLK, the premier professional basketball league in Poland. The city of Jelenia Góra is located in southwest Poland near the Czechia border.

Eleko recently earned her second consecutive All-Mid-American Conference Second Team nod following the completion of the 2025-26 season, where she led the Eagles to an 11-win improvement from their 2024-25 record.

In the 2025-26 regular season, Eleko led the MAC in rebounds per game for the second-consecutive season with 9.9 per contest (31st nationally) while ranking second in points per game (17.4). The senior recorded 17 double-doubles, the most in the MAC and seventh most by value nationally, on her way to tying EMU's all-time double-doubles record, posting 31 in 56 career games. An efficient scorer, Eleko slotted sixth in the MAC in both field-goal percentage (48.5%) and free-throw percentage (78.6%). She was the only MAC player to rank in the top two in points and one of rebounds or assists per game.

She concluded her collegiate career with 51 double-doubles, the third-most by an active NCAA Division I player, as she is one of five to post 50 or more in their careers. She scored over 1,500 points (1,735), ranking inside the top-35 among active student-athletes, and recorded 1,053 rebounds, the 12th most. She finished her EMU career with the highest career rebounds per game average (10.0) while ranking fourth in points per game (17.7).

Eleko became the first Eagle to earn All-MAC designation in consecutive seasons since Areanna Combs was named All-MAC Second Team in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns. The honor is EMU's 21st All-MAC Second Team nod. In total, the 6-foot-2 senior holds three all-conference honors in her career after being named All-MAAC First Team in 2023-24 with Canisius and All-MAC Second Team at EMU in 2024-25 and 2025-26.
