Sophomore guard was named Second Team All-PSAC West in 2025-26

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Head Women's Basketball Coach Sahar Nusseibeh announced the signing of Zoe Guice to the 2026-27 roster Monday, May 11.
 
Guice (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South/Clarion) arrives in Ypsilanti after earning Second Team All-PSAC West honors at Clarion University in 2025-26.
 
"We are very excited to welcome Zoe Guice to the Eastern Michigan women's basketball family," said Nusseibeh. "Zoe is someone who competes with toughness and operates with a winner's mindset on and off the court. We cannot wait for her to add value to the program these next two years. Our Eastern fans and community will love having Zoe as our final piece to the 2026-27 roster."

EMU: 2026-27: Joins the EMU women's basketball program as an incoming transfer from Clarion.
 
CLARION: Played two seasons at Clarion, earning Second Team All-PSAC West honors in 2025-26 and three PSAC West Player of the Week Awards, Nov. 18, 2025, Dec. 15, 2025, and Dec. 2, 2024.
 
2025-26: Appeared in 24 games, starting all 24…Earned Second Team All-PSAC West honors, March 6…Named PSAC West Player of the Week twice, Nov. 18 and Dec. 15…Earned CSC Academic All-District recognition, March 25…Finished second in the PSAC in assists per game (4.3) and steals per game (2.7) while ranking second on the team in scoring with 14.4 points per game, an increase of 5.8 points per game from her 2024-25 average (8.6)…Converted 88 free throws on 130 trips to the line…Collected 83 rebounds, 23 on the offensive side and 60 on the defensive side…Blocked 11 shots…Drilled 18 shots from beyond the arc for a .290 percentage on the season…Converted a career-high five three pointers on eight attempts against Felician, Dec. 9...Recorded her career-high in assists (8) twice against Pitt-Johnstown, Jan. 17, and at California (PA), Feb. 14...Tied her career-high in points (27) at Pitt-Johnstown, Jan. 17.
 
2024-25: Appeared in 29 games, starting 28 of them…Named PSAC West Player of the Week, Dec. 2…Scored a total of 250 points, averaging 8.6 points per game…Made 89 field goals on 208 attempts…Converted 11 of 38 attempts from beyond the arc…Successful on 61 of 91 free throw attempts…Collected 111 rebounds, with 29 on the offensive end and 82 on the defensive end…Recorded 87 steals and 70 assists over the season…Made her collegiate debut against Bluefield State, Nov. 9...Scored a season-high 17 points against Lake Erie, Nov. 19...Recorded her first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Ohio Dominican, Dec. 1.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Four year letter winner at Westerville South High School in Westerville, Ohio, lettering in basketball, volleyball, and track & field…Three-time all-conference selection, member of the District 10 Super Team, honorable mention all-region…Helped the Wildcats to back-to-back OCC championships in 2021-22 and 2022-23, and a district championship in 2022-23…four-time defensive player of the year, one-time offensive player of the year…Three-time honor roll member…Academic all-state honoree and 12-time scholar-athlete with a GPA over 3.5.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Jermaine and Sara Guice…Has two brothers, Jaiden Guice and Bryce McBride, and three sisters, Jalynn Guice, Nelia Guice, and Peyton McBride…Father, Jermaine played professional basketball overseas for 14 years…Sister, Peyton played collegiate basketball at Ohio University…Sister, Nelia played collegiate basketball at Ohio Dominican University…Brother, Jaiden played collegiate basketball at Shawnee State and Florida Memorial.
