Tanner Knue put together a strong showing on offense for the Eagles as he pulled in three passes for 106 yards and one touchdown on the day against Buffalo, Sept. 24. One of the top receivers in yards (291 yards) in the MAC so far, Knue posted his first 100-yard receiving game of year with the help of a 67-yard reception – the longest offensive play of 2022 for Eastern and the third-longest reception recorded by any receiver in the MAC – while also grabbing his fourth touchdown in 2022, which ties him for the MAC lead in receiving scores. The first 100-yard receiver of the year for Eastern, Knue now has at least one, 100-yard game in three consecutive seasons (2020, 2021, and 2022).
