Senior defensive back Brody Hoying equaled a career high with 12 tackles (5 solo, 7 assist) against Kent State. The last time he reached 12 tackles came in 2017 against Western Michigan, Oct. 21. Overall, it marked the first time this season and the 12th time in his career that Hoying reached double figures in stops. Overall, EMU’s defense limited a talented Kent State offense to just three points and 163 yards in the second half.
