Senior outside hitter Samantha Basham had a day to remember against Toledo, Sept. 22. She had a team-high 10 kills for Eastern Michigan. It is the fifth time this season that the Ohio-native has recorded double-digit kills for the Green and White and 30th in her career. Her 10 match kills to add to her career total of 706, overcoming the 700 career-kill milestones. 119 of the 706 Kills (16.8%) have come in the 2022 campaign. Basham registered a team-high three aces in the loss. The three aces surpassed her season-high two aces against the University of Louisiana, Aug. 26. Basham's three aces on the match were short one of her career-high four aces over Central Michigan University, March 16, 2021. It is the fourth time this season she has led the Green and White in aces.
