In the field, Hehr handled 17 chances flawlessly from his shortstop position. Hehr’s impact was greatest in the middle game of the 3-game sweep over NIU. Later, in the bottom of the 4th of a 3-3 game, Hehr hit a 2-run double to deep right center to give EMU a lead they would not relinquish.
