Cross Country Set for Races at Princeton Fall Classic and Jenna Strong Fall Classic

The men will compete at Princeton, while the women will run at Jenna Strong
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University cross country programs travel Friday, Oct. 17, for a set of meets. The men will head to Princeton, N.J., where they will compete in the Princeton Fall Classic at Meadows Campus at Princeton University, 11:15 a.m. The women's team travel to Wilmington, Ohio, to compete in Wilmington College's Jenna Strong Fall Classic, racing in the 5k at 4:30 p.m.
Men's team members Nicholas Kline (Grand Rapids, Mich./Kenowa Hills), and Ben Mussen (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth), will also head to the Jenna Strong Fall Classic to compete in the men's race at 5:15 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Eastern was at the Joe Piane Invitational, hosted by the University of Notre Dame, Oct. 3. The women finished third in the 5k with 85 points, led by Liv Hatch (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso), who finished in the top ten with a personal-best 17:42.1. The men's team finished eighth in the 8k with 211 points, led by Kian Wiles (Hull, England/St. Mary's College), with a time of 24:52.1.
PERSONAL BESTS
Most recently at the Joe Piane Invitational, Oct. 3, the teams combined for a total of three personal-best times.
