INSIDE THE CONTEST
Wednesday's match up will mark the 93rd meeting between Eastern Michigan and Toledo. The Rockets lead the all-time series, 57-35, with UT coming away with the most recent win, Jan. 6, 2024. EMU looks to break a six-game losing streak against the defending MAC champions.

ROUND #2 WITH THE #1 ROCKETS
Earlier in the season, EMU showed a great defensive effort in the 48-35 setback to the defending MAC Tournament Champions, Jan. 6, at home. The Eagles allowed just 48 Toledo points, which later tied for the lowest of any MAC foe this season, equaling the same amount of points scored by Miami in both contests this season (W, 53-48, Jan. 17; L, 37-48, Feb. 24). Additionally, the 48 Toledo points marked as the second lowest points scored on the season by the Rockets following the mere 45 against Duke University, Dec. 20.

PERFECT FROM THE CHARITY STRIPE
The Eagles went a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line in the setback to Ball State, March 2. It was just the second time the team had recorded a 1.000 free throw percentage this season after doing so at NIU, Feb. 17, going 7-of-7.

CONVERTING 1.000 FROM THE LINE
Five Eagles converted perfect free-throw percentages in the game at Ball State. Lachelle Austin led with four makes on four attempts, freshman Sophie Canen went 3-of-3 from the stripe for a career-high, and both Tayra Eke and Dara Capaldi connected on two each, while Kennedi Myles went 1-of-1 after an and-1.

AUSTIN'S THREE-POINT SHOOTING GAME
Lachelle Austin made two three's in the setback to Ball State, going 2-of-9 from beyond the yard marking the junior's 16th game this year with a single make from three-point land, topping the 14 games she secured the feat in during her rookie season.
