LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – Junior Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International) led the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team to a first-round 300 at the 42nd Annual Pat Bradley Invitational. Overall, the Green and White are in 13th-place among 17 teams on the par-72 Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
South Alabama holds the team after 18 holes with a 283, while Florida's Lauren Waidner holds a slim one stroke lead over the field with a five-under 67.
Sripatrprasite fired an opening round of 72 to tie for 22nd. Senior Julia Stevenson (Milford, Mich.-Milford) added a 75, while senior Katelin Lawson (LaSalle, Ontario- Ridge Community-Tampa) notched a 76. Senior Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne) and sophomore Green Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School) rounded out the lineup with a 77 and a 78, respectively.
The tournament will continue with two more rounds on Monday, Oct. 21, and Tuesday, Oct. 22. Live stats will be available via BirdieFire.com and posted at EMUEagles.com each day.
