Green and White Close Raleigh Relays with Another Top-Three Event Finish

RALEIGH, N.C. (EMUEagles.com) – After a great first day, the Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team returned to action today, March 26, with day two of the Raleigh Relays. The Eagles concluded their time in Raleigh, N.C. with two more solid performances.
Senior Scott Bradley (Battle Creek, Mich. – Lakeview) represented Eastern in the 800m, taking home 19th with a time of 1:53.56. The entire field of the race was very competitive, as the difference between the top runner and the final finisher was less
than four seconds.
The Green and White also nabbed a podium spot in the 4x1500m relay. The group of graduate student Joshua Sabo (Akron, Ohio – Revere), and redshirt sophomores Kieran Reilly (Dover, Great Britain - Dover Grammar School for Boys), Mitch Lenneman (River Falls, Wis. – River Falls), and Hlynur Andresson (Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland - Mountain Ridge) took home the bronze after crossing the finish line in 16:00.03 to edge out the team from Cincinnati.The top-three finish was the second for the Eagles this weekend.
EMU will continue their outdoor season next weekend with the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, April 1-2.
