YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — A select group of swimmers from the Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving squad will travel to the Buckeye State to compete in No. 9/16 Ohio State University's Winter Invitational, Feb. 8-9.
The meet will not be scored in the usual head-to-head fashion like most of the meets in which the Eagles have competed, but will rather feature swimmers from the Midwest that are looking to qualify for postseason competition. Some other institutions that will feature multiple swimmers are Wright State, Penn State, and Mid-American Conference foes the University of Akron, the University at Buffalo, Ball State University, and the University of Toledo.
The meet will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 in McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Live stats will be available through OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
