Pierre led the Eagles with a 21st-place finish
COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University men's diving team completed its time at the NCAA Zone Championships Friday, March 9, inside the McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion at the Ohio State University.
Freshman Al'x Pierre (London, Ontario-St. Thomas Aquinas) led the Green and White with a 21st-place finish in the 1-meter with a final score of 289.05. Junior Tom Gillis (Halifax, Nova Scotia-Citadel) also notched a top-25 finish with a mark of 275.65, good for 25th place. Senior Peter Rusenas (Naperville, Ill.-Naperville) and sophomore Noah Galluzzo (Mexico, N.Y.) turned in scores of 267.20 and 226.40 for 26th and 38th place, respectively.
