YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's swimming and diving team will play host to in-state rival Oakland University, Saturday, Nov. 9 in Jones Natatorium.
Following a two-week hiatus after taking on the Wildcats of Northwestern University, the squad looks to open up its 2013-14 home campaign in full force by going head-to-head with long-time rivals in the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland. EMU holds a 22-8 record over the Horizon League foe but suffered a setback last season, Nov. 10, 2012, dropping the contest, 139-159, in Rochester, Mich.
The dual meet is slated to start at 1 p.m. in Jones Natatorium and will be run concurrently with the EMU women's swimming and diving team's meeting with Oakland. Live results will be available through EMUEagles.com.
