Alison Stier enters her third season as a student assistant for the Eastern Michigan University women’s soccer team in 2008. Before joining the sidelines, Stier played for the Green and White during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. Stier missed the 2005 season due to injury. During her senior year (2006), she did not play, but remained with the team as a student assistant. As a player, she scored two career goals in 39 games. One of her goals was a game-winner against Marshall University (10-10-03). Stier graduated from Eastern Michigan in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and is now serving as a graduate assistant with the equipment department in addition to coaching. She is pursuing a master’s in sports management.
