Eastern Soccer Announces Six Additions to the 2026 Signing Class

Eagles adding athletes from four states, two from Michigan
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Soccer Head Coach Taylor Clarke announced the complete 2026 signing class today, Nov. 12.
Eastern Michigan women's soccer and head coach Taylor Clarke announced its 2026 signing class on Nov. 12. with the Eagles welcoming six student-athletes ahead of the program's 31st varsity season. EMU's six signees are from four different states, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Illinois.

Annalyse Bauer_________________MF_____Fr.________Latrobe, Pa.
EMU: 2026: Joins the program as a freshman this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Greater Latrobe High School and competed for the soccer team under head coach, Jamie Campbell. Completed 20 goals and 10 assists during her senior season, Bauer was a three-time All Section member, as well as a two-time Moe Rosensteel player of the game and watch-list honoree. She was also a member of the Pittsburg Riverhounds club soccer team under coaches, John Rotz, Scott Gibson and Rob Vincent. During her time on the team, Bauer was a member of the first and second ECNL Ohio-Valley All Conference teams…As well as a US Youth National Team Talent ID Center Invitee. PERSONAL: Full Name: Annalyse Stephanie Bauer…Daugher of Randy and Jennifer Bauer…Has two siblings, including brother Lucas and sister Paityn…Major: Undecided.
Avery Hilvert_________________F_____Fr.________Powell, Ohio
EMU: 2026: Joins the program as a freshman this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Olentangy Liberty Highschool and competed for the soccer team as a forward/midfielder under head coach Chris Allen. Completed 13 goals and 12 assists during her senior season, Hilvert holds the school record for the first 4-year varsity letter winner. She was awarded first team OCC for three consecutive years, as well as first team all district in 2024 and 2025. She helped the team earn District championships in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and the OCC championship in 2023. Hilvert also participated in club soccer on the Ohio Premier team as a forward under head coach Willie Gage where she helped the team win All Ohio valley conference 2022-2023. PERSONAL: Full Name: Avery Kay Hilvert…Daughter to Kevin and Marisa…Has two siblings, including sisters Rylie and Kayce…Major: Exercise Science.
Deanna Jaffer_________________MF_____Fr.________Dearborn, Mich.
EMU: 2026: Joins the program as a freshman this season HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Dearborn High School and competed for the Hawks club soccer team under head coach Toney Ventura. During her time on the team, Jaffer helped the team win an ECNL championship in 2023. PERSONAL: Full Name: Deanna Sam Jaffer…Daughter to Sam and Malak Jaffer…Has four brothers including Ali, Hassan, Jaffer and Mohammed…Major: Biology.
Ella Miller_________________F_____Fr.________Mount Morris, Pa.
EMU: 2026: Joins the program as a freshman this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Morgantown High School and competed for the soccer team as a forward/midfielder under head coach, Bri Frontuto. Completed 26 goals and 8 assists during her senior season, Miller holds the school record for most goals in a game (7). She was awarded 1st team All-State and Top Region Player of the year, as well as a member of the WVSSAC Girls Class AAAA All-Tournament Team. She helped the team win 3 Consecutive Mid-Atlantic Conference Championships. She also participated in club teams, BVB WV G2008 and Beadling 2008 Girls Academy as a forward/midfielder under head coaches, Kernel Borneo and Matt Fongey. EMU: 2026: Joins the program as a freshman this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Palatine Highschool and competed for the soccer team as a left forward under head coach Aaron Morris. She was awarded all sectional honorable mention freshman year and all conference and all sectional sophomore year. Waddington also participated in club soccer on the Sockers FC as a left forward under head coach JJ Ruane. PERSONAL: Full Name: Jolee Janee Waddington…Daughter to James and Jodi Waddington…Has one sister, Jocie…Major: Elementary Education.

EMU: 2026: Joins the program as a freshman this season. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Northville High School and competed for the soccer team under head coach Jeanine Reddy. During her time on the team, Yaquinto made state semi-finals as a freshman and was selected for the Mid-American Talent ID event team. She was also a member of the Jaguars club soccer team under head coach Derrick Smith. PERSONAL: Full Name: Lauren Alexandra Yaquinto…Daugter to Todd and Maureen Yaquinto…Has a brother, Nick. Major: Exercise Science.
