EMU: In just one season with the Eagles, Janae helped the team secure numerous historic firsts, including the first NCAA regional and national appearances for the program that saw Eastern tie for third at the NCAA Championships just two years removed from ranking No. 226 nationally… Earned the first All-America honors in program history after being selected to the Golfweek All-American Third Team and the WGCA All-American Honorable Mention team… The All-MAC First Team honoree earned MAC Golfer of the Week honors three times during the season as she averaged 71.6 strokes per round to set the program record by 1.5 strokes… Opened her time with the Eagles by winning the first two tournaments of the season (The Southern and the Leadership & Golf Invitational) to become only the third player in EMU history to win multiple tournaments in a single season while becoming the first to win back-to-back medalist honors…
2025-26: Produced one of the team’s most historic seasons as she became the first All-American in program history as she was named Golfweek All-American Third Team and WGCA All-American Honorable Mention… Her play helped Eastern qualify for the NCAA regional event for the first time in program history before helping the Eagles advance to the NCAA Championships and match play for the first time… An All-MAC First Team honoree, she opened her season with back-to-back victories as she captured The Southern (9/8-9) in even-par 216 before winning the Leadership & Golf Invitational (Sept. 15-16) at 7-under 209, the fourth-lowest score in team history… The wins, which stood as the first of her collegiate career, made her the first player in team history to win back-to-back events and the first to win multiple times in the same season since Stephany Fleet accomplished the feat in 2007-08… She also became one of only seven EMU player to win multiple tournaments in a career… Returned to a familiar event to open the spring as she tied for fourth at even-par 213 at the Alice & John Wallace Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State… Her second-round 67 tied for the third-lowest in program history… Posted top 10 finishes in four consecutive events at the end of the season, including tied for fourth at the Silicon Valley Showcase (March 30-31) at 2-over 215; fifth at the Chevron Silverado Showdown (April 6-8) at 7-under 209; tied for ninth at the MAC Championships (April 26-28) at 4-over 214; and tied for seventh at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional (May 11-13) at 3-under 213… Her 209 at Silverado tied for the fourth-lowest in program history while her 213 at the Wallace and regional events tied for 14th… Tied for 23rd at the NCAA Championships where she shot 1-over 289 to help the Eagles advance to match play for the first time… In match play, she was paired with the top two ranked players in the NCAA… She opened with a 5&4 victory over top-ranked and 2026 NCAA Champion Farah O’Keefe (Texas) in the semifinals before taking on No. 2 Paula Martin Sampedro (Stanford) in the semifinals where she was down one through 16 holes when the team decision has been decided… Earned MAC Golfer of the Week three times, including Sept. 19 following her win at the Leadership & Golf Invitational; Feb. 20 (shared with her twin sister, Jasmine) after tying for fourth at the Alice & John Wallace Invitational; and March 13 after placing 12th at the GameAbove Invitational… Finished the season with a 71.6 scoring average, which broke the school record by 1.5 strokes after Savannah de Bock set the standard one year prior at 73.1… Competed in 12 tournaments and placed in the top 20 nine times, the top 10 seven times, and the top five in five events… Recorded 21 rounds at or under par (played 36 rounds), including six rounds in the 60s… Opened the year ranked No. 41 in the Scoreboard/Clippd rankings and finished at No. 46 nationally… Academically, was named CSC Academic All-District… Following the season, competed in several events on the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour… Tied for fourth at the 33rd Michigan Women’s Open (Thompsonville) as she fired 7-under 209… Opened the Michigan event with a round of 66 to hold the individual lead through 18 holes… Tied for 26th at the Texarkana Children’s Charity Open after showing 6-over 294… Finished tied for 12th at the Wisconsin Women's Championship at 3-under 213...
