MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University lacrosse team is set to compete in the 2026 Mid-American Conference Tournament as the Eagles will meet the University of Akron in the second of two semifinals inside Joe Walton Stadium in Moon Township, Pa., at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30. The third-seeded Eagles (10-6, 5-2 MAC) and second-seeded Zips (11-4, 6-1 MAC) are meeting in the semifinals for the second consecutive year with Eastern looking for its first win in the tournament after falling in the semifinals in each of the past two events.
OPENING DRAWS
» Eastern is 10-6 overall and finished 5-2 in MAC play to earn the No. 3 seed in the MAC Tournament. The Eagles closed out their regular season with a 16-4 win at Youngstown State, April 25.
» The win over the Penguins was the 10th of the season for the Eagles, marking their first time reaching a double-digit win total in program history. The previous record for single-season victories was eight set last year.
» The Eagles posted a program-record five wins in MAC play, surpassing the 4-2 records posted in each of the past two seasons.
» Eastern enters the 2026 MAC Tournament looking for its first postseason victory after falling in the semifinals each of the past two seasons. The Eagles fell to Robert Morris, 12-11, in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., in the 2024 event before falling to Akron, 16-4, last year in Moon Township, Pa.
» The Eagles' win against Robert Morris (April 18) marked the sixth time this year, and the second time in MAC play, Eastern has defeated an opponent for the first time in program history with both MAC wins (14-9 over Central Michigan) snapping 0-4 starts in the series. The other wins came against previously played opponents in Xavier and Oregon and newcomers in Lindenwood and Austin Peay.
» The game with UMass (April 11) marked the fourth time in 2026 Eastern played an opponent for the first time in the program's four-year history. The Eagles went 2-2 in those games, including wins over Lindenwood (14-11) and Austin Peay (13-10) and losses to Vanderbilt (11-8) and the Minutewomen (14-4).
» After trailing, 3-1, to Robert Morris (April 18), Eastern came back to win the game (13-3), marking the sixth time in 2026 the Eagles have come back to win after trailing, including twice when trailing in the fourth quarter with the most recent coming in the Central Michigan game as the Eagles went on a 10-3 scoring run over the final 35:52 of the game to win after trailing, 6-4, with 5:52 remaining in the second quarter. The other wins have come against Lindenwood, Xavier, Oregon, and Austin Peay.
» Eastern has held an opponent to four or fewer goals in one half of play 15 times this year (32 halves), including nine in the second half and six in the first half. Additionally, nine of those halves (14 halves played) have come in MAC games with at least one half in each of the seven games played this year.
» The three goals allowed to Robert Morris were the fewest in any game played in program history and included the first second-half shut out of an opponent. Eastern shut out Detroit Mercy (March 19) in the first half earlier this season for the first in program history.
» Maddy Porter continues to shine in goal as she recorded 16 saves against UMass (April 11), making her one of only three players nationally to have stopped 16+ shots in three or more games this year. Porter, who also stopped 16 in the MAC opener against Kent State, has posted three games that rank among the top 20 nationally in single-game saves as her program-record 21 stops at Vanderbilt (March 4) are still tied for the top spot while the 16-save games are tied for 18th nationally.
» Five Eagles were named captains for the 2026 season, including Mackenzie Blackwell, Samantha Borgert, Kelsea Dague, Maddy Porter, and Annika Wozney.
» The coaching staff also welcomed two new faces as Irene Carlquist and Ty McGuire were hired as assistant coaches. Carlquist, most recently the head coach at Lees-McRae, will work with the goalkeepers, while McGuire, the former head coach of the men's program at Concordia-Ann Arbor, will work with the defense.
» Maddie Dugan is in her second season guiding the Eagles. The 2024 MAC Coach of the Year at Detroit Mercy, Dugan guided the Eagles to a share of the MAC regular season crown in 2025, the first title in program history.
QUICK RECAP: EAGLES CLAIM ROAD WIN AT YSU
Eastern Michigan closed its regular season schedule on the road at Youngstown State, April 25, with the Eagles jumping out to a 6-0 lead before claiming a 16-4 victory. Mackenzie Blackwell recorded a season-high eight points on five goals and a career-high three assists while a record 10 different EMU players recorded at least one goal with Emerson Henry posting a hat trick. Tracy Grollman dished three assists to pace the team as it posted a single-game record 12 assists as four Eagles handed out multiple helpers in the game. Defensively, Eastern limited the hosts to one goal in each frame to mark the second-lowest goal total allowed in program history and mark the third time in a MAC game in 2026 that the defense held a team to four or fewer goals. Maddy Porter played the first three quarters and recorded 11 saves and four ground balls, bringing her career total to 200.
ADD ANOTHER TO THE TOTALS
Following her 11 save, four ground ball performance at Youngstown State, Maddy Porter was named the MAC Goalkeeper of the Week, April 28, marking the fifth time she was honored this season. She now has eight weekly goalkeeper awards from the MAC.
AND THE AWARD GOES TO...
The MAC announced its annual specialty awards and all-conference teams April 29 with seven Eagles earning recognition for their play in 2026, including Maddy Porter, who repeated as the MAC Goalkeeper of the Year, while also earning First Team All-MAC honors for the second consecutive season. She was joined on the first team by Mackenzie Blackwell, who earned her fourth career honor and her third first-team award. Four Eagles were selected Second Team All-MAC, including Kelsea Dague, Tracy Grollman, Emerson Henry, and Annika Wozney with Henry and Wozney repeating their selections to the second team from last year while Dague and Grollman secured their first career awards. Emma Reichert was also honored as she earned a place on the MAC All-Freshman Team.
ENTRY DENIED
Maddy Porter earned MAC Goalkeeper of the Year for the second consecutive year following another outstanding campaign. Heading into the postseason, she ranks fourth nationally in ground balls per game (4.13), ninth in save percentage (.498) and saves per game (9.63), and 11th total saves (153). She has recorded 10 or more saves in seven games this year while reaching several milestones, including 400 saves and 200 ground balls in her career.
MAJOR AWARD HISTORY
The award for Maddy Porter not only gave her back-to-back MAC Goalkeeper of the Year honors, it marked the sixth specialty award earned in the four-year history of the program. Along with the two goalkeeper awards, Porter was named the 2024 MAC Freshman of the Year, one year after Mackenzie Blackwell garnered the rookie award in 2023 before being named the MAC Attacker of the year in 2025. Sydney Lawrence was named the 2024 MAC Defensive Player of the Year to round out the six honors earned.
ALL-MAC HONOREES
The six All-MAC awards earned this year are the most in a single season for the program, surpassing the five earned last year. All told, five different Eagles have been selected for all-conference accolades, including Mackenzie Blackwell with four, Maddy Porter with three, Annika Wozney and Emerson Henry with two each, and Sydney Lawrence with one. The first-team awards earned by Blackwell and Porter this year marked three consecutive years with at least two players being selected to the top team.
MAC TOURNAMENT • THE TEAMS
The four-team MAC Tournament field features No. 1 UMass, No. 2 Akron, No. 3 Eastern Michigan, and No. 4 Robert Morris. The Minutewomen won the regular season title with a 7-0 mark in MAC play with Akron at 6-1, EMU at 5-2, and RMU at 4-3.
MAC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Eastern is making its third consecutive appearance in the MAC Tournament in just its fourth varsity season. The Eagles made their debut at the No. 3 seed in 2024 and lost to Robert Morris, 12-11, in Mount Pleasant, Mich. Eastern, as the No. 2 seed, faced Akron last year in Moon Township, Pa., and fell, 16-4.
HANG TEN!
With its 16-4 win at Youngstown State, April 25, in its regular season finale, Eastern recorded its 10th victory of the year, marking the first time in program history the Eagles have reached double-digit wins. Heading into the game, the best record held by the Eagles came last year with an 8-9 record. Standing 10-6 ahead of the MAC Tournament, the Eagles are guaranteed their first winning record in program history this season.
KNOW THE FOE: AKRON
The Zips finished their regular season with an 11-4 record overall and a 6-1 mark in MAC play with their lone loss coming in an 18-10 road loss at UMass in league play. Since that setback, Akron has won three consecutive games and scored 16 goals in each with a 16-6 win at Robert Morris, a 16-7 win at home over Youngstown State, and a 16-3 road win at Central Michigan. Outside of conference play, the Zips' three losses came at home to Canisius (19-10) and San Diego State (14-13) with one road loss at Arizona State (14-8).
Individually, the Zips are led by 2026 MAC Attacker of the Year Sienna Hinchcliffe and 2026 MAC Midfielder of the Year Katie Baumer. Hinchcliffe tallied 97 points on 70 goals and 27 assists this season while Baumer posted 58 points on 37 goals and 21 assists with six of her goals going down as the game-winning score. Defensively, Adrianna Califano has started and played every minute of all 15 games. She has made 85 saves and allowed 132 goals for an 8.80 goals against average while saving 39.2 percent of all shots faced.
IN THE SERIES: EAGLES vs. ZIPS
Akron holds a slim 3-2 lead in the series and has won the last two games, including a 10-9 decision in Akron earlier this year (March 28). After dropping their first meeting, also by a 10-9 score, in 2023, Eastern won two consecutive meetings, including an 11-10 game in Akron in 2024 and 16-12 decision at home in 2025. Despite the home win, EMU dropped a 16-4 decision to the Zips in the MAC Tournament last year.
THE LAST TIME: EASTERN at AKRON
The Eagles dropped a 10-9 decision in the most recent meeting with the Zips, March 28, as a 5-1 first quarter lead for Eastern was trimmed to 5-4 at halftime before Akron took the lead in the third quarter. Leading 7-5 with 12:39 to play in the third, Eastern saw the hosts scored three consecutive goals to close out the third and take an 8-7 lead. After Eastern tied the game with 11:21 to play, Akron answered with two goals for a 10-8 lead with 3:43 to play. The Eagles scored with 1:11 to play but could not find the equalizer. Emma Reichert led the team with two goals as seven other Eagles scored one goal each while Sienna Hinchcliffe and Heather Carey each scored four for Akron.
THE LAST TIME: NEUTRAL MEETING
Eastern and Akron met in the semifinals of the MAC Tournament last year in Moon Township with the Zips grabbing a 16-4 win. Eastern found itself down 2-1 with five minutes played before a three-goal run by the Zips gave UA a 5-1 lead through one. After Katheryn Wilson scored at 12:10 in the second to make it 5-2, the Zips would go on an eight-goal run to claim a 13-2 lead with 4:06 remaining in the third. Emerson Henry notched her second of the day, but it was not enough as UA added three more goals for the win.
PENN-ING A FIRST WIN
EMU is 0-5 all-time when playing in Pennsylvania and 0-3 when playing at Joe Walton Stadium. Eastern lost 19-7 at Robert Morris in 2023 before falling, 16-13, at Duquesne and 7-6 at Lafayette in 2024. Last year, it was another close loss at RMU, 10-9, before falling to Akron in the MAC Tournament, 16-4.
GETTING THEIR FIRST?
Another milestone was reached with the victory over Robert Morris as the 13-3 decision marked the sixth time this year Eastern defeated an opponent for the first time in program history, the second time it did so against a MAC opponent, and fourth time against a team it had previously played. The two wins over first-time opponents came Feb. 11 in a 14-11 decision over Lindenwood with the second in a 13-10 road victory at Austin Peay. In non-conference play, the Eagles scored their first wins over both Xavier (9-7) and Oregon (12-9) before posting MAC wins over Central Michigan (14-9) and RMU. The wins against the Chippewas and Colonials saw Eastern snap a streak of four consecutive losses against both programs.
ROAD FINALE
Eastern is 3-1 in its final road game of the regular season with wins in each of its last three contests. The Eagles fell at Central Michigan, 19-4, in 2023 before taking an 18-11 win at Youngstown State in 2024 and a 16-4 win this season. Last year, the final road game was played at Kent State, which resulted in a 15-8 win.
TOUGH SLEDDING
Through 16 games played, the Eagles have held eight teams to single-digit goal totals, including the most recent 16-4 road defeat of Youngstown State (April 25), with five coming at home. The eight wins are a single-season record, surpassing the five from 2025. Eastern is 17-1 all-time when holding an opponent to nine or fewer goals and has won the last 13 such games.
LESS IS MORE
Eastern played seven MAC games this year and limited its opponents to single-digit goal totals in five of those contests while holding them to 7.14 goals per game. To get to that figure, the defense held a MAC team to four or fewer goals three, including four to Detroit Mercy and Youngstown State and three to Robert Morris, marking the fewest goals allowed in a MAC contest in program history. The five games of single-digit goals allowed in 2026 have tied the total amount recorded in its first three years with zero in 2023, one in 2024, and three in 2025.
GOING LOWER
In seven MAC games, the Eagles held opponents to 7.14 goals per game, the best average in the four years the team has played, surpassing the 9.0 average recorded last year. The Eagles allowed 12.4 goals per game in 2023 in its first six MAC games (16.3 in all eight) before improving to 11.5 in six games in 2024. Heading into the game at Youngstown State, Eastern will look to add to its low totals defensively as the current seven-game record stands at 14.8 per game from the 2023 season.
MAYBE NEXT HALF
Eastern has played 16 games this season, which amounts to 32 halves of play. Of the 32 halves, the Eastern defense has held an opponent to four or fewer goals 15 times, including nine times in the second half. The Eagles played seven MAC games (14 halves) with the defense allowing four or fewer goals in nine of those halves, including both halves of the game with Robert Morris that saw EMU allow three in the first before blanking the Colonials in the second half and two in each half to Youngstown State.
DOWN BUT NOT OUT
Eastern Michigan has won five games after trailing at some point, including twice when trailing in the fourth quarter, with the most recent coming in the Central Michigan (April 4) game as the Eagles went on a 10-3 scoring run over the final 35:52 of the game to win after trailing, 6-4, with 5:52 remaining in the second quarter. The other wins have come against Lindenwood, Xavier, Oregon, and Austin Peay.
RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT
Eastern has held foes scoreless for long stretches in the fourth quarter in four victories while scoring goals to help complete come-from-behind wins. The win over Xavier (Feb. 14) saw the Eagles hold the Musketeers scoreless the final 12:47 of the game while scoring four goals to win, 9-7. On the road at Oregon, the Ducks tied the game at nine with four minutes to play in the third before EMU went on a 3-0 run over the final 19 minutes of play for the 12-9 win. Eastern then held Austin Peay (March 1) scoreless over the final 14:02 while going on a 5-0 run for the 13-10 win. In the victory over Kent State (March 14), Eastern led the entire game and built a 7-1 lead at halftime, turning the tables with a near-shutout in the first half instead of the second. Most recently, the Eagles held Robert Morris (April 18) scoreless over the final 39:56 of the game, including a second-half shut out, to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 13-3 win.
SPREADING IT AROUND
In the 16-4 win at Youngstown State, 11 different Eastern players recorded at least one point, marking the second-highest total in a single game in program history. The record was set one week prior against Robert Morris (April 18) when 12 players were credited with at least one point in the win. The Eagles finished with 28 points against the Penguins, which is second all-time behind the 29 points recorded at Delaware State (Feb. 28, 2024) while the 12 assists tallied at YSU broke the record of 11 from the DSU game.
TAKING ADVANTAGE
Through 16 games played, the Eagles have scored 41 woman-up goals for an average of 2.56 advantage goals per game with both totals leading the MAC. The 41 goals are the most scored in a single season in program history, surpassing the 35 tallied in 2024.
STEALING HER WAY TO THE TOP
In the game with Robert Morris, the Eagles' defense caused 20 turnovers, marking the third-highest total in program history and the second in a MAC game. Annika Wozney led the strong defensive effort as tied her career-high with five caused turnovers and added three ground balls while helping limit Robert Morris to just six total shots in the second half. She added three more at Youngstown State to bring her career total to 55, which broke the record of 51 set by Sydney Lawrence (2023-24). Additionally, she posted three or more caused turnovers and three or more ground balls in the same game for the third time in her career.
THE PORTER 400
With her 16 saves against Kent State (March 14), Maddy Porter brought her career total to 406, making her the first Eastern player to surpass 400 saves in a career. The only player to have reached 200 and 300 saves as well in program history, Porter has tallied 153 saves this season, marking her third consecutive season with 100+ saves while ranking her 11th nationally in total saves in 2026. Her 464 saves are the 11th-highest total among all active goalkeepers in NCAA Division I (as of April 26) as the seven saves she posted against Robert Morris (April 18) earned her another milestone (450).
PORTER ON THE RISE
Maddy Porter is among the top goalkeepers nationally as she ranks in the top 50 in five categories, including standing fourth in ground balls per game (4.13). Porter currently stands ninth in both save percentage (.498) and saves per game (9.63) while also ranking 11th in saves (153) and 41st in goals against average (10.21). Overall, she is among the top three in the MAC in all five areas as she is first in ground balls, second in save percentage, saves, and saves per game, and third in goals against average.
SWEET 16... AGAIN
Maddy Porter has recorded 16+ saves in three games this season with the most recent coming against UMass (April 11). Porter, who also recorded 16 saves in the March 14 MAC opener against visiting Kent State, has recorded 16+ saves in three games this year with the first coming on the road, March 4, in her 21-save performance at Vanderbilt. Those totals have her highly ranked on the national scene as her 21 saves are tied for second-highest in a single game this year among NCAA Division I goalkeepers while her 16-save performances are currently tied for 19th on the list.
STOP RIGHT THERE!
Maddy Porter has made the top 10 saves chart at Eastern Michigan her own list as she owns all 10 marks listed with three added this year as she brought her career total to 18 games with double digit saves. Porter broke her own record with 21 stops at Vanderbilt (March 4) earlier this season while her 16 stops against both Kent State (March 14) and UMass (April 11) tying for the fourth-highest total. Last year, she posted five of the top 10 totals with the remaining two achieved in the 2024 season.
THE SHORT LIST
Maddy Porter is among rare company this year as her 16 stops against UMass (April 11) made her one of only three goalkeepers nationally to record 16+ saves in three or more games in 2026. Louisville's Haley Richards leads the way with five games while Micaela Jennings of Lehigh is next with four. Porters' 21 saves at Vanderbilt (March 4) remain tied for the most by a goalkeeper in an NCAA Division I game this season.
ON THE LIST • NCAA
March 4 was a day for goalkeeper saves as the top three NCAA Division I performances were recorded on the same day. Maddy Porter recorded 21 saves at Vanderbilt while Isabella McCullough (Longwood) tied for the single-game high after stopping 21 against Liberty. Haley Richards (Louisville) recorded 19 saves in the Cardinals' game with Florida State to take the third spot, all of which surpassed the previous best of 18 saves that was recorded twice on Opening Day (Feb. 6). Through games played April 22, Porter's 21 saves stand tied for second on the single game list after Emma Anderson of Gardner-Webb stopped 22 shots against High Point (April 22) while her 16 stops against Kent State (March 14) and UMass (April 11) currently are tied for 18th.
POINTING IT OUT
With five points on three goals and two assists, Mackenzie Blackwell made more program history against Kent State (March 14) as the senior brought her career point total to 200. The only player in EMU history to surpass 150 points, Blackwell secured her 200th point by assisting Amber Alderman's goal with 3:53 to play in the game with the Golden Flashes. Through the Youngstown State game (April 25), she has tallied 222 points on 191 goals and 31 assists.
MORE THAN HATS
To reach her goals and points totals, Mackenzie Blackwell has scored goals in bunches for the Eagles throughout her career. Blackwell has played all 65 games in program history and has scored at least one goal in 89.2 percent of the games she has played with 80.0 percent of her games ending with multiple goals. Here is how she has fared throughout her career:
» 1+ goals: 58-of-65 games (.892 percent)
» 2+ goals: 52-of-65 games (.800)

» 4+ goals: 22-of-65 games (.338)
» 5+ goals: 10-of-65 games (.154)
MORE THAN SCORING
While she continues to score, Mackenzie Blackwell has also been tracking back on defense and playing a tough ride as she has caused 11 turnovers in the past six games, including a career-high four against Kent State (March 14). Blackwell entered the year with 19 total caused turnovers to her credit and has tallied 16 this year, which has already bettered her single-season high set her freshman season.
NATIONALLY KNOWN
Mackenzie Blackwell ranks among the national top 50 in three categories this week as she ranks 31st in shots per game (6.63), 47th in goals (44), and 50th in goals per game (2.75).
MILESTONE REACHED • BLACKWELL
Mackenzie Blackwell is the program's career leader in nine categories, including goals (191), hat tricks (39), game-winning goals (six), free-position goals (29), woman-up goals (41), points (222), shots (415), shots on goal (301), and draw controls (260) through the game played against YSU (April 25). The only player in program history to reach 100 and 150 goals and the first of two to reach 100 points, Blackwell recorded one draw control at Akron to reach 250. She recently reached another milestone as she tallied her 40th career woman-up goal, 28 more than the next Eagle.
NATIONALLY KNOWN • TEAM RANKINGS
As a team, Eastern is among the top 50 in seven statistical categories (through games played April 26), led by the team's 50.0 percent save percentage, which ranks eighth nationally and leads the MAC. The Eagles also rank 10th in ground balls 918.56), 14th in caused turnovers (11.31), 38th in assists per game (6.44), 40th in goals against average/scoring defense (10.06), and 50th in both scoring margin (+1.38) and fewest fouls committed (6.19).

Mackenzie Blackwell
» 191 goals = 7th in NCAA Division I
» 2.94 goals/game = 14th in NCAA Division I
» 222 points = 18th in NCAA Division I
» 3.42 points/game = 33rd in NCAA Division I
» 4.00 draw controls/game = 29th in NCAA Division I
Maddy Porter
» 4.17 ground balls/game= 1st in NCAA Division I
» 200 ground balls = 2nd in NCAA Division I
» 9.67 saves per game = 5th in NCAA Division I
» 464 saves = 8th in NCAA Division I
Tracy Grollman
» 1.20 assists per game = 47th in NCAA Division I
» 72 assists = 37th in NCAA Division I
HAPPY HELPER
Tracy Grollman is the third Eagle that is ranked among the top 50 nationally as she appears on two assist lists. Grollman is currently ranked 24th in both total assists (37) and assists per game (2.31). She also leads the MAC in total assists while ranking second in assists per game, seventh in total points (54), and ninth in points per game (3.38).
DOING THE DISHES
Tracy Grollman has rewritten the program's assist ledger as her four dimes against Kent State (March 14) moved her to the top spot of another list. Ahead of the game at Vanderbilt (March 4), Grollman was tied with Avery Schwab (2023-25) with 45 career assists with her two helpers that day breaking the tie. She added a single-game record five helpers against Cincinnati (March 8) to become the first Eastern player with 50+ assists in a career. Grollman has tallied 72 career assists to become the only Eagle to reach 60 and 70 as well.
SEASON ASSISTS
Tracy Grollman took over the single-season assists record early in MAC play as her four helpers against Kent State (March 14) both tied and broke the mark of 19 set by Avery Schwab in 2024. Since then, including her three dimes against Youngstown State (April 25), Grollman has accumulated 37 helpers this year to become the first Eagle to reach 20 and 30 assists in a single season and needs three more to reach 40.
GROLLMAN HITS CENTURY MARK
Tracy Grollman recorded four points on two goals and two assists at Oregon (Feb. 22) to bring her career total to 100 points (now at 143), making her only the second player in program history to reach the century mark. Grollman, who recorded her seventh career game with multiple goals and multiple assists in the same contest, broke her season high for points with six on two goals and four assists against Kent State in the MAC opener (March 8).
NIFTY FIFTY
Tracy Grollman posted four points on four assists in the win over Robert Morris (April 18) on Senior Day to bring her season total to 50 points, making her only the second player in program history to hit the half-century mark. She added four points on one goal and three assists at Youngstown State (April 25) to tie for third all-time with Mackenzie Blackwell, who holds the top two spots at 65 in 2025 and 62 in 2026 after recording 54 in 2024.
OH HENRY!
When the season opened, Emerson Henry scored one goal in each of the first four contests before being held without a point. That all changed in Eugene, Ore., Feb. 22, as she scored twice to help the Eagles to the upset victory (12-9) to start a run of 11 consecutive games with at least one goal scored, including her four-goal, three-assist performance against Central Michigan (April 4) and her hat trick at YSU (April 25). Over the run, Henry has tallied 27 goals and seven assists for 34 points while recording multiple goals in 9-of-11 games with three or more in four. She also has posted three or more points in four of those games with her seven against the Chippewas standing as a career high. Her 31 goals in 2026 rank fifth on the single-season list and marks back-to-back years she has scored 26 goals as she became only the third Eagle to score 30 goals in a single season with Mackenzie Blackwell having accomplished the feat four times and Sydney Lawrence twice.
WEARING TWO HATS
Emerson Henry finished the game with CMU with a 'double hat trick' as she recorded four goals and three assists in the game. It marked her first career double, the first of the year for the team, and the first since April 20, 2025, when Tracy Grollman tallied five goals and three assists at home against Akron. The double for Henry is the fifth in program history with Sydney Lawrence recorded two against Youngstown State with four goals and three assists on the road, April 8, 2023, and then again on the road, April 21, 2024, with eight goals and five helpers. Grollman also has posted two in her career with a three-goal, three-assist performance at Howard (Feb. 25, 2024) standing as her first.
AHOY, CAPTAINS!
Five Eagles were selected as team captains for the 2026 season. The captains include Mackenzie Blackwell, Samantha Borgert, Kelsea Dague, Maddy Porter, and Annika Wozney.
ON THE HORIZON
