Lacrosse Lands Program-Record 20 on Academic All-MAC List

Eastern continued its strong academic showing to lead the league in honorees once again
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- The Mid-American Conference announced its annual Academic All-MAC list for lacrosse, June 4, with Eastern Michigan University leading the way with a program-record 20 student-athletes earning the accolade for the 2026 season. The Eagles, who posted their best year in program history on the field, increased their record by six individuals after having 14 selected in each of the past two seasons.
To earn Academic All-MAC honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the sport. First-year students and ANY transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. All told, 114 individuals from across the eight teams in the league earned recognition with the Eagles leading the way with 20 selections while Kent State University was next with 19 and Central Michigan University with 17.
The 20 Eagles that made the grade in 2026 included Abby Alderman (Lusby, Md./Patuxent), Amber Alderman (Lusby, Md./Patuxent), Caitlin Beahm (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North), Mackenzie Blackwell (North Beach, Md./Northern), Payton Bloedow (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake/Stony Brook), Samantha Borgert (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern), Stella Burke (Peterborough, Ontario/St. Peter's Catholic Secondary), Kelsea Dague (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield), Kyleigh Dill (Dover, Del./Dover), Mak Grisinger (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington/Central Michigan), Tracy Grollman (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis Area Christian School), Emerson Henry (Ashburn, Ontario/Donald A. Wilson), Haley Hodak (Severn, Md./Old Mill), Erin Humphrey (Auburn Hills, Mich./Troy), Roya Khaleeli (Rancho Palo Verdes, Calif./Palos Verdes Peninsula), Karly Low (Owen Sound, Ontario/Owen Sound District Secondary), Kendall Nagle (Sudlersville, Md./Queen Anne's County), Maddy Porter (Montrose, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson), Katheryn Wilson (Dacula, Ga./Mill Creek), and Annika Wozney (Elk River, Minn./Elk River).
Grollman earned her fourth career Academic All-MAC honor with eight Eagles garnering their third, including Abby Alderman, Amber Alderman, Beahm, Blackwell, Borgert, Dill, Hodak, and Wozney, the 2025-26 MAC Medal of Excellence recipient. Dague, Khaleeli, Low, Nagle, and Porter each earned their second award while Bloedow, Burke, Grisinger, Henry, Humphrey, and Wilson were all honored for the first time.
Eastern has tallied 51 all-time academic honors from the MAC with three earned in 2023 and 14 earned in each of the past two seasons (2024 and 2025) before breaking the record with 20 this year. All told, 25 different Eagles have earned Academic All-MAC accolades in their careers at Eastern.
