Blackwell is the first player from Eastern Michigan selected to compete in the event featuring 44 players from across the country competing in one final collegiate competition. The Blue All-Stars will be coached by Tim McCormack, the head coach at Johns Hopkins University, while the White All-Stars will be led by Lauren Skellchock from Mount St. Mary's University.
Blackwell recently completed a stellar four-year career with the Eagles and did her part in helping build the program from the ground up as she was part of the first full class to play for the program. She established numerous program records and departed the program with six single-game, eight season, and nine career records with most coming in scoring categories. For her career, she finished with the EMU record with 194 goals, 40 hat tricks, six game-winning goals, 30 free-position scores, 42 woman-up goals, 226 points, 418 shots, 304 shots on goal, and 260 draw controls. A four-time All-MAC selection, including second team as a freshman and first team over her final three seasons, Blackwell was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week on five occasions and earned MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week once, the first in program history in both categories. She recently earned her degree from Eastern Michigan in marketing.
