MAC Announces EMU Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

Eastern will play 18 regular season conference games, including nine at home

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- The Mid-American Conference announced the 2025-26 Eastern Michigan University women's basketball conference schedule Thursday, Aug. 21. 
 
Eastern is set to compete in 18 conference games in the 2025-26 regular season, playing nine games at home inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center and nine on the road.
 
The top eight teams in the final regular season standings will earn berths into the 2026 MAC Tournament inside Rocket Arena, in Cleveland, Ohio, March 11-14, to determine the MAC Women's Basketball Tournament Champion as Eastern enters Head Coach Sahar Nusseibeh's second year in search of their first tournament championship since 2012.
 
The Eagles will tipoff MACtion on the road against 2025 NCAA tournament participant, Ball State University, Dec. 20. Ten days later, EMU will welcome Bowling Green State University for its MAC home opener, Dec. 30, 5 p.m. 
 
After a bye week, Eastern will ring in the new year on the road against Ohio University, Jan. 7, 7 p.m. The Green and White will then return home to compete against Kent State University, Jan. 10, 2 p.m. EMU will proceed to start a two-game road trip, facing Miami University, Jan. 14, 2 p.m., and cross-state rival, Central Michigan University, Jan. 17.
 
The Eagles will resume home competition to face the Rockets of the University of Toledo, Jan. 20, 6:30 p.m., and the Northern Illinois University Huskies, Jan. 24, 1 p.m., before getting back on the road to play the University at Buffalo Bulls, Jan. 28.
 
Eastern will defend home court against rival Western Michigan University to wrap up the month of January, Jan. 31, 2 p.m., before heading on the road to face MAC-newcomer, the University of Massachusetts, Feb. 4, 7 p.m. 
 
Continuing into February, Eastern will host Ball State in the Eagles and Cardinals' second matchup of the regular season, Feb. 10, 6:30 p.m., before making a trip to the Glass City to face the Toledo Rockets once more, Feb. 14. Coming off another bye week, EMU will host back-to-back games against Buffalo, Feb. 21, 2 p.m., and Miami, Feb. 25, 6:30 p.m. 
 
With three games remaining, EMU will face NIU on the road, Feb. 28, before returning to Ypsilanti to defend home court for the final time in 2026 as it will face Ohio, March 4, 6:30 p.m. The Eagles will close out their regular season with a trip to the University of Akron to battle the Zips, March 7. 
 
Additional game times and television designations will be announced at later dates.
