Parks, Whitelaw Announce 2025 Cross Country Schedule

The Eagles are slated for five regular-season meets before entering postseason action
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's and women's cross country programs along with women's head coach Sue Parks and men's head coach Austin Whitelaw announced the team's 2025 schedule Tuesday, Aug. 12.
The Eagles are slated for five regular-season meets before entering postseason action beginning with the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Cross Country Championships, hosted by University at Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y., Saturday, Nov. 1.
The Eagles will kick-start their season up north at the Jeff Drenth Memorial, hosted by rival Central Michigan University in Shepherd, Friday, Aug. 29.
Eastern will remain in the Great Lake State for meet No. 2, and will again head to rival territory as it will compete at the George Dales Invitational, hosted by Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo Friday, Sept. 19.
Three meets will take place in October, as the Eagles prepare to head south first to run at the University of Notre Dame-hosted Joe Piane Invitational in South Bend, Ind., Friday, Oct. 3.
Adding to their travels, the Eagles will fly east for the second meet of the month in Princeton, N.J., for the Princeton Fall Classic, hosted by Princeton University Friday, Oct. 17.
The Eagles will return to southeast Michigan for their lone home meet of the 2025 campaign, as they will host the EMU Fall Classic Friday, Oct. 24, in Dexter.
Following the MAC Championships, qualifying harriers will advance to the regional round of the postseason with the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, hosted by the University of Evansville, in Evansville, Ind., Friday, Nov. 14. The season will conclude with the NCAA Cross Country Championships, hosted by the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Mo., Saturday, Nov. 22.
