COLUMBUS, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Savannah de Bock
climbed 10 positions in the standings at the 2025 NCAA Columbus Regional Tuesday, May 6, as the Eastern Michigan University sophomore shot 4-over 76 on the Scarlet Course at the Ohio State University Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio. De Bock, who was tied for 44th following the opening round, sits tied for 34th at 7-over 151 after play in the second round concluded on the par-72, 6,319-yard course.

De Bock (Ecaussinnes-d'enghien, Belgium/Institut de l'Enfant-Jésus-Lycée/Georgia) started her second round coming off hole No. 10 where she carded a bogey. From there, however, she shot par on the remaining eight holes to go out in 1-over 37. Following her ninth consecutive par, de Bock hit a few bumps as she posted a double-bogey on the par-4 second before recording a bogey on the par-4 third. De Bock finished the front with six consecutive pars to come in a 3-over 39 and finish the round at 4-over 76 to bring her two-day total to 7-over 151 and place her in a tie for 34th, an improvement of 10 places from the first round.

With two rounds in the books, de Bock is currently tied with one player ranked higher than her nationally while sitting ahead of three. She is tied for 34th overall with No. 32 Mackenzie Lee (Southern Methodist University) while leading No. 99 Josefin Widal (LSU) and No. 130 Amy DeKock (University of Kansas), who are tied for 41st, and No. 116 Taylor Riley (Louisiana State University), who is tied for 45th.

The top of the leaderboard is crowded following the second round as 17 players are among the top 10, including eight tied for 10th place. Lyla Louderbaugh (Kansas) leads the standings at 5-over 139 with both No. 14 Kendall Todd (University of Arkansas) and No. 126 Emily Odwin (SMU) tied for second. Based upon the current team standings, Moa Svedenskiold (University of Houston), who is tied for fourth at 1-under 143, would be the top individual not on a qualifying team that would earn a berth into the NCAA Championships.

In the team standings, 12 schools are looking to finish in the top five to qualify for the NCAA Championships, May 15-21, in Carlsbad, Calif. No. 2 Arkansas (4-over 580), No. 39 University of Nevada Las Vegas (5-over 581), No. 14 Ohio State (6-over 582), and No. 23 Kansas (6-over 582) are in the driver's seat with No. 35 SMU sitting fifth at 16-over 592, 10 strokes behind the Buckeyes and Jayhawks. No. 10 LSU and No. 52 Kent State University both are 17-over 593, just one shot behind the Tigers for the fifth and final qualifying spot.
