TAP INS: DE BOCK
» Savannah de Bock is the first EMU woman to qualify for the NCAA Regional tournament and, combined with the men's program, just the third Eagle to earn an at-large berth into the event (Korey Mahoney in 2005 and 2006 and Christopher Ross in 2009).
» Savannah de Bock enters the regional event ranked No. 163 nationally (Scoreboard/Clippd April 30).
» Savannah de Bock earned All-MAC First Team accolades, the first by an Eagle since Kelsey Murphy was named to the first team in 2015. The 18th different player to earn All-MAC honors, she is the program's 16th different player to garner a spot on the first team.
» Savannah de Bock rewrote the record book throughout the season as she posted the four best 54-hole scores in EMU history and six of the top eight as well. The record of 211 (Anna Watson, 2023) ahead of the season was lowered to 204 when de Bock won the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept. 23-25) with the sophomore also shooting 209 (Gators Invitational), 210 (Hurricane Invitational), and 211 (Rainbow Wahine Invitational) this year.
» In individual rounds, Savannah de Bock posted seven rounds of 69 or lower, including a school-record 65 at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept. 24), bettering the 66 recorded by Kelsey Murphy in 2015. All told, the program has seen players record 23 rounds of 69 or lower with de Bock owning seven.
» Savannah de Bock won the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept. 23-25) to win her first collegiate event and the 24th in program history. The first medalist for the Eagles since Alyssa DiMarcantonio won the A-Ga-Ming Invitational (Sept. 4-5, 2022), de Bock is the 14th different player to win a tournament at EMU.
» Savannah de Bock holds a stroke average of 72.9, which is the best in program history by nearly two strokes (1.8) as Kelsey Murphy previously held the mark at 74.7 from her 2015-16 season. Moreover, de Bock (37 rounds) has played 10 more rounds than Murphy did.
» Savannah de Bock finished 12-of-15 rounds played in the fall under par, which was most of any player in the nation among all collegiate divisions. Two players tied for second at 10.
