Women’s Golf Completes Play at Dolores Black Falcon Invite

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Two members of the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team competed as individuals at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational, hosted by Bowling Green State University, at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio, Saturday-Sunday, April 6-7. Both Natai Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand/The Regent's International School) and Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) tied for 24th in the standings as each finished 8-over on their rounds.
Playing the par 72, 5,911-yard Dolores Black course, Apichonlati fired back-to-back 76s for a 152 total while Watson shot rounds of 75 and 77 to match her teammate's 152. Julie Shin of the University of Pennsylvania took medalist honors shooting a 5-under (139) performance to help the Quakers to the team win as well.
The event in Bowling Green marks the end of the regular season for the Eagles. Next up for Eastern Michigan will be the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships, April 21-23, in Grove City, Ohio. The Pinnacle Golf Club will host the event.
