Cross Country Concludes Regular Season With Three PR's at EMU Fall Classic

DEXTER, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University cross country teams competed at the EMU Fall Classic at Hudson Mills Metropark in nearby Dexter, Mich, Oct. 25.
How it Happened
The meet had no team scoring. The men's race was first as Nicholas Kline (Grand Rapids, Mich./Kenowa Hills) led the Eagles, clocking in at 17:00.10, finishing 26th.
Drew Graves (Shelby Township, Mich./Henry Ford II) was the only other Eagle who ran on the men's side, finishing in 18:23.90. Both times were personal bests for the respective runners.
The women's side had a much bigger field as Eastern Michigan had nine participants. Frankie Moore (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills) led the way for Eastern Michigan as she crossed the finish line with a personal best 19:00.20, placing 30th.
In addition, five other runners from Eastern broke 20 minutes in the women's race, including Cora Henderson (Courtice, Ontario/Courtice Secondary), Sophie Emin (Easton, Pa./Easton Area/Rutgers), Alynna Wilson (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon), Kayla Muir (Ida, Mich./Ida/Stautzenberger College) and Laisette Rachal, who finished with times of 19:06.70, 19:12.10, 19:37.80, 19:54.80 and 19:56.60, respectively.
