EMU and Detroit Mercy will meet in Brighton as renovations to Scicluna Field continue
YPSILANTI, Mich. — Thursday's exhibition soccer match between Eastern Michigan University and the University of Detroit Mercy, originally scheduled for EMU's Scicluna Field, has been moved to the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Mich., Head Coach Scott Hall announced today. The venue change was needed as Scicluna Field is currently undergoing renovations and will not be ready for this week's contest.
The Legacy Center Sports Complex is located at 9299 Goble Drive in Brighton, Mich. (48116), approximately 20 miles north of campus. The match between the Eagles and Titans will be played indoors and is free to all those wishing to attend. First kick is slated for 5 p.m. As the match is an exhibition, there will not be live streaming and live stats available.
