Women’s Golf Close Regular Season at Jaguar Invitational

CARMEL, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team plays its final regular season tournament of the year this weekend at the IUPUI Lady Jaguar Invitational. Competition in the two round tournament will begin on Saturday, April 16, with 18 holes of play, followed by the final round of play on Sunday, April 17.
The Plum Creek Golf Club course plays to a par-72 and a length of 5,921 yards.
The Eagles are joined in the field of seven teams by Butler, Dayton, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, UIC, and Western Illinois.
This will be the first time Eastern has taken part in the event.
Head Coach Stephanie Jennings will use the lineup of sophomore Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland), freshman Kyleigh Dull (Fremont, Ohio-Lakota), junior Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit), freshman Alyssa DiMarcantonio (Maple, Ontario-Tommy Douglas Secondary School), and sophomore Paige Zolciak (Perrysburg, Ohio-St. Ursula Academy).
Four Eagles will also play as individuals with redshirt sophomore Adeline Lau (Sa Rawak, Malaysia-SMK Bintulu-Michigan Dearborn), junior Natai Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School), sophomore Sophia Wygonik (Westland, Mich.-Livonia Franklin), and Tatyana Nyambane (Nairobi, Kenya-Nord Anglia International School Dubai) scheduled to play.
Results will be posted to EMUEagles.com at the conclusion of each day.
