FITCHBURG, Wis. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team opens the 2021-22 season at the Badger Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin, Sept. 26-28. The tournament will feature 18 holes each day on the par 72, 7,826 yard University Ridge Golf Course.
EMU will be paired with the host Badgers and South Dakota State on Sunday with tee times set for 10:12 a.m. CT.
The 14-team tournament will feature ACU, Augusta, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Michigan, High Point, Illinois State, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, Sam Houston State, South Dakota State, Toledo, Wisconsin and Xavier.
Head Coach Bruce Cunningham will use the lineup of Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic), Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary), MJ Smith (Rockford, Ill.-Winnebago), Patrick Deardorff (Clarkston, Mich.-Clarkston), and Max Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland).
