Eagles Set to Host EMU Fall Classic

Cross country readies for one last meet before conference showdown, Oct. 22

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University cross country program is finally ready to host after competing outside of the State of Michigan in all but one meet this fall. The Eagles will host the EMU Fall Classic at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, Mich., Friday, Oct. 22. The men's 5K kicks off at 4 p.m. followed by the women's race at 4:30 p.m.

Hudson Mills Metropark features rolling hills and wooded areas along a branch of the Huron River. The races will serve as tune-ups for all participating teams with numerous conference championships on the horizon.

Following the meet, the Eagles stay at home as they host the Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday, Oct. 30, at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Mich.
