BLUFFTON, S.C. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team returns to action at the Low Country Invitational hosted by Wingate University, March 2-3. The 36-hole event will take place on the par-71, 5,713-yard Crescent Pointe Golf Club.
The 13-team field includes: Carson-Newman, Converse, EMU, Grand Valley, Lander, Lenoi-Rhyne, Montevallo, Newberry, Queens, Tusculum, Western Michigan, Wingate, and Young Harris.
Each round will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Eastern paired with Carson-Newman and Grand Valley to open the tournament.
Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan has taken home the title in each of the event's first two years. The Broncos edged Flagler by four strokes in 2019 to win the team title, 619-623.
