SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (EMUEagles.com) — It is a quick turnaround for Eastern Michigan University men's golf team, as it competes in the 2019 Desert Mountain Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Ariz., March 9-10. The 54-hole event, hosted by the University of Michigan, will take place on the par-72, 7,107-yard Outlaw Course at the Desert Mountain Golf Club.
The 12-team field includes: Ball State (138), Eastern Michigan (109), Harvard (251), Kansas (38), Lipscomb (200), Marquette (41), Miami (Ohio) (135) Michigan (91), Michigan State (57), Mississippi State (53), Northwestern (44), and Rutgers (117). There will be nine total invited individuals competing – Kansas, Marquette, Miami, Michigan (3), Michigan State, Mississippi State and Northwestern.
Saturday will feature 36 holes of continuous play starting at 10 a.m. EST, while Sunday's round begins at 10:30 a.m. EST.
Representing the Eagles will be Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic), Beau Breault (Hartland, Mich.-Hartland), Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas-Boyd-Stephen F. Austin), Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary), and Zack Mason (Toronto, Ontario, Canada-Blyth Academy Lawrence Park).
